I wanted to let you all know that the application is now LIVE, for those of you that have been waiting for it. Please feel free to send to your students using this link. While not every student will receive an internship, that is because we are looking for quality internships as opposed to just quantity. We are heavily invested in our recruiting push with companies and trying to close as many chances as possible. If your students are curious about what they would do, this “example internship” will likely cover a majority of what students would be doing.

REFLECTION PAPER–each day this week you will be asked to complete a question–here they are:
- What have you learned about 360 video and virtual reality—be descriptive and specific.
- AFTER WATCHING YOUR AND THE OTHER @ VIDEOS in 360 w/glasses critique each video—include at least 2 strengths and 2 flaws or issues per video
- (Thursday prompt) VR was the big thing at the NAB this year. What do you see as the future for VR and 360 video? Include thoughts on the near future and 10+ years from now. Think about how, what, and why you/people may use the VR. IF you want to read an article or two in addition to your response, fell free to do so and summarize with citations.
- What are 3 things you would do differently in reshooting your 360 project?
EXTRA CREDIT: go to the library and try out the new system and write about your experience—beyond that—put your video into the system there!

Today and Friday you will create a vanity(examples), or production company logo in motion. Here are the basic requirements:
- either your own personal logo or a QTV logo is fine
- at least two separate movements (i.e. words appearing at different times)
- at least one sound effect well placed (use ism films)
- good overall design including sizing, balance, placement, and font/color choices
YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THESE TOTORIALS< BUT I TOOK SOME TIMER TO FING A FEW—OBVIOUSLY, DON”T WATCH THEM ALL!!! HERE ARE A FEW DIFFERENT GENERAL TUTORIALS:

1. Submit your entry directly to the NWHSFF SchoolTube Channel: http://www.schooltube.com/channel/nwhsff/ This will add your video to the SUBMISSIONS tab on the channel. If you don’t see your video here, then I can add it under the PINNED videos tab. Be sure to add the keyword “NWHSFF” when you upload your entry.
2. Complete the online registration form: http://nwhsff.weebly.com/entry-form.html This step officially enters your film into the festival.
