CAREEER RESEARCH PROJECT
Your final project in this class is a research project based on yourself and a potential career. We will be working on this for the last 4 weeks of the semester.
You will be asked to focus on three basic questions:
Who are you?
What do you want to become?
How will you get there?
Although these seem pretty simplistic, they are actually complex and will involve quite a bit of research to fully answer. Based on class discussions about these questions, I broke the question down for you:
CAREER RESEARCH CONSIDERATIONS AND QUESTIONS
During the first week, you will begin looking at possible topics, and begin researching about yourself and looking at info about some careers. Additionally, you will learn a bit about using PowerPoint.
The second week will be spent learning more about one specific career, and exploring post-high school options. Additionally, there will be some mini lessons on PowerPoint.
During the third week you will continue researching and put together your final presentations. I will begin allowing people to give presentations during class on Friday, January 22.
You must have your work complete and ready to give your presentation by Tuesday 1/26/09.
After that time there will not be any more time to work during class.
